After you arrive in Yunnan, our local guide will pick you up and then drive to Yunnan Kingworld International Hotel. Then you can have a good rest.
Meals: No mealDay 2 Kunming to Dali
Your local guide will pick you up from the hotel in the morning. Enjoy the sightseeing of Stone Forest, which has the typical karst topography (area of limestone terrain) according to geologists, and several surrounding Sani minority villages(2 hours);
Next proceeed to Yi Minority Village. The ancestors of the Yi ethnic group can be traced back to the Qiang people living in northwest China. They later migrated south and joined the local southwest aboriginal and created a new group, the Yi ethnic group. After that take soft-sleeper train to Dali.

You'll travel to Dali by air and be brought to your hotel.
After check-in, you will visit the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Monastery, which are by far the most well-known and magnificent pagodas. Originally, the Chongsheng Monastery was built to be near the Dali Three Pagodas, so people call them "Chongsheng Monastery & Three Pagodas"(1.5 hours).
After lunch, you'll take a cruise on Erhai Lake and enjoy a three-course tea in the style of the Bai people (2 hours). You'll also have the opportunity to stroll around Dali Old Town(1 hour).

Visit Black Dragon Pool, which lies in the Wulao Hills, is a famous sight on the northern outskirts of Kunming.
Then visit Dongba Culture Exhibition Museum, which represents the Dongba Pictographic Characters and Naxi Minorities mysterious Culture, some of which still use the matriarchal social system up till today.
Stroll around Dayan Old Town, which is a World Heritage Site in China recognized by the United Nations in 1999.
Meals: Breakfast, LunchDay 5 Lijiang
First visit Yufeng Si, which is one of the Scarlet Sect lamaseries of Lijiang and shows a conjunct architectural style of Han Buddhism, Tibetan Buddhism, Taoism and the local Naxi Dongba Religion.
Then enjoy the sightseeing of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, which is a nice vacationing spot with great potential for snow sightseeing, mountaineering, explorations and scientific investigation.
Afterwards, visit Baisha Mural, which has its unique aspect that there are many Mural Paintings in temples.
Meals: Breakfast, LunchDay 6 Lijiang to Shangrila
Have a day tour of the Tiger Leaping Gorge, a canyon of the Yangtze River. Legend says that in order to escape from a hunter, a tiger jumped across the river at the narrowest point (still 25 metres wide), hence the name.
Next you'll visit the First Bend of the Yangtze River. It is the location where the Yangtze River makes its first major turn and changes the direction from the north-south to south-northeast. The last stop is the Stone Drum Town. It got its name from a large, cylindrical, marble tablet shaped like a drum. Since ancient times, this town has been important, linking Tibet with the outside world.

Begin the tour with a visit to the Songzanlin Temple, it is a miniature version of the Tibetan Lhasa Potala temple with its own statues and paintings of deities and lamas. Then travel to the Bitahai Lake. Suited in the east of the Shangri-La County Diqing, it's the highest lake in Yunnan.

Driven to the airport for flight to Kunming.
Travel to West Hill, which is also called 'Sleeping Buddha Hillsand'
Then visit Dragon Gate, which is close to the west shore of the Dianchi Lake.
Explore to the Huating Temple, which is one of the largest Buddhist temples in Yunnan Province.

Driven to the airport for your departure flight.

No special route for minority may be a downside to the itinerary. You can pick up some typical scenes of minority duiring the trip. You can also join the minority festival with luck. We want to go to some place which is not too hot and child friendly, our kids are 4 year and 10months old. Is this tour suitable for us? Plz suggest. Thanks..
