Hello Sally, just to let you know about out holiday.
We had a great time, hotels and cruise ship were very good.  Some other points:
The guide was great in Shanghai, the lady driver was very good.
The guide in Beijing was not too bad, we did have difficulty in understanding her but we were ok.  The driver in Beijing was not good, he was driving very fast and aggressive and continuously using his horn also he was using his mobile phone whilst driving (not good if you are a nervous passenger).  The driver also changed the itinerary so we went to the great wall on Monday 15th instead of Sunday 14th (I think this was done because he didn’t want to take the long drive on a Sunday and we got the impression he just wanted to race around and drop us back at the hotel as soon as possible.  I’m just letting you know this because other guests may complain (we did enjoy the trips apart from this)
The guide and driver in Xian were very good
The cruise ship was very good
