Lijiang is a prefecture-level city in the northwest of Yunnan Province, China, which occupying an area of 21,219 square kilometres (8,193 sq mi) and a population of over 1 million.
The world famous Old Town of Lijiang, a UNESCO Heritage Site is right located in Lijiang City. The town has a history going back more than 800 years and was once a confluence for trade along the old tea horse road. The Lijiang old town is famous for its orderly system of waterways and bridges.
The first thing to do in Lijiang is of course to enjoy the wonderful scenery and at the same time to taste the profound history and cultural relics, we went there by ourselves in order to explore more wonderful scenery, while it is important to ask advice before you go there, I always believe one person alone cannot completely enjoy the beauty of one site, or at least, cannot share it with good friends, so it is better to go with a China travel agency if you cannot find a friends to go with you.
The second thing: to enjoy local life in local bars
this bar got its name from a novel of Hai Yan, and the photograpy places of that TV series are mostly in Lijiang
