Zhangjiajie, situated in the northest of Hunan Province, occupying an area of 9518 sq. km, Tujia and Bai nationalities take 2/3 of the whole population. The climate here is mild all the year round, averaging 16 C, with the highest 37 C in the summer and 4.3 in the winter, suitable both for animals' breeding and plants' growing. There is a saying goes that: visiting Zhangjiajie is just like meeting a beauty of perfect temperament, you will feel pleasant at the first sight and even more enjoyable the second view.
