Yes, you have to take originals to thepassport office (courthouse, post office, passport office) in person, with bothparents (or a notarized form). They only copy allowed is of your ID, and theywill make that copy or write down the information from the ID and sign theapplication form. Besides, it’s illegal to make copies of the CoC. Moreover,You will receive the documents back separate from the passport, so don’t panicwhen you get the passport back without the doc’s or the doc’s hack first.
You are advised to take CoC, ChinaBirth Certs, DD/DS China passports, your Passports, the adoption decree, thepictures. The made copies of all and kept the adoption decree from China and theCoC and then mailed those back to you in a separated letter from the passport.
If the dresses are really silk, and are asingle color, they can be hand washed in Woolite separately from other handwashables, hung up in the bathroom to dry, and then ironed.
Caution:
1. It cannot be washed with hot water, orthe color will fade.
2. You have to hang it up all the times, oryou will get wrinkles
3. Avoid the direct strong sunrays, or thecolor will get yellow and dark
4. Many so called “Silk” products are fake ones, they are cheap rayon.
